I already posted this together with my other "suggestion". I just want to post this again to make things more formal and to make things clear.

In-Game Achievements

I don't know if this idea has been worked by Sedy but I still think this is a good idea. The idea goes like this.

Example :

Son of Rambo : Kill 100,000 monsters ( 200,000 points )
Socializer : Have 30 friends ( 1000 points )

After earning a certain amount of achievement points, there would be a vendor/NPC where the achievement points can be exchanged.

ALSO, when someone gets an achievement it would be nice to be displayed all over the server like when you get epic items and such.

I still don't know if that's the best suggestion but I want to contribute to the community.

    Son of rambo sounds fun LOL Would be pretty cool!
    But I don't really agree on the achievement points being exchanged for something.. otherwise you'll keep unfriending and friending people hahahahahahah!

    It's upto Sedy and the admins if they want the exchange system but the most important thing is the achievements !!!! :D :D

    Also, it's just a simple example xD and if this would be really implemented,the friend "thing" would be discouraged otherwise, just like you said players can keep on friending and unfriending.

    Yeh I would love to add an achievement system to Iris - I think it would be a really nice feature. I'm with Spunny on the points thing though, I don't think they should be spendable points. It's more of a status thing really - having the most achievements/points.

    However, it's actually quite a considerable feature to add. It might seem simple on the surface but the more I think about it, the more difficult it seems. I guess I might be able to rework the quest system in some way, since achievements are essentially hidden quests really.

    Something to think about anyway - I'll add it to my list of stuff to "possibly" do :)
