is it ok to use potion while in duel?

i duel w/ him and i used potions and he said that was illegal and i get banned.....

is he telling the truth or just trolling at me ?

    Oh he is trolling you alright.

    If you don't want people to QQ in duels, what I used to do is ask them before duelling "pots or not?"

    Might save you from unnecessary trolling.

    Duel him again without pots and beat him, then tell him he will get banned for being a scrub :D
