No srsly they are used for alchemy and card making.

Supposedly they are needed to make epic weapons/armor 10 pieces makes a whole and you need 100 pcs of that whole to upgrade ur unique to epic. Just like flower pieces you get from PVP maps.

But since teh great sedy already provided us with those marvelous epics we dont need them that much.
