You need to learn some higher recipes. NPC Tobias sells some that will take your skill higher.

You can use nsDB to see all recipes and the level they will get you to.

Go here http://noscrubs.net/iris/nsdb/recipes and choose Card Master from the Assistant Skill dropdown and press the blue GO button to filter only Card Master recipes. Go to the 2nd page and you can see recipes that will take your skill higher than 55 - click on the recipe name and it will tell you where to get the recipe from - who sells it, if it's a drop from a monster etc.
