The server will be down for several hours for a maintenance and to apply the following updates. I don't have an ETA right now but it will be on Monday afternoon.

MOUNTS
NEW: Mount Collection

You can now collect as many mounts as you want without taking up inventory space. All mounts are now found in Mount Collection.

The Mount Collection displays both the mounts you own and every mount available in the game, making it easier to browse, preview, and track your collection.

/images/iris/aug2026/mountcollection.jpg

Open the Mount Collection from the menu bar or by pressing the V key. You can assign it to any shortcut key you want in Shortcut Keys. Owned mounts are displayed first, and then all other available mounts. Right-click a mount to use it or drag it's icon to a skill bar slot to create a shortcut. Any existing mount shortcuts on your skill bars continue to work as before.

Preview your hero on a mount by ticking the Preview box and selecting a mount.

/images/iris/aug2026/mountcollection_preview.jpg

View information on how to obtain the mount including quests, monster drops, crafted, or from a vendor or shop.

/images/iris/aug2026/mountcollection_info.jpg

View the Mount Rune slots of your mounts and any Runes they have equipped directly in the list.
Equip Mount Runes by Left-clicking the mount and pressing the Rune Button.

/images/iris/aug2026/mountcollection_runes.jpg

Search mounts by name.
View mounts owned and total mounts available.

When obtaining a mount from drops, crafting, vendors, boxes, or the Shopping Mall, it will now be added directly to your Mount Collection instead of your inventory.

Mount Changes
All Rare quality mounts from the Mount vendors changed from 7 day to permanent, including those already in your inventory that haven't already expired.

Since mounts are now stored directly in the Mount Collection, they can no longer be traded or extracted.

Mounts stored in the Guild Warehouse will automatically be added to the Mount Collection when taken from the Guild Warehouse.

Sealed mounts will now automatically be ridden after being unsealed, removing the need to click twice.

Many mount names have changed slightly so they show together in the alphabetical list of mounts in the Mount Collection.

Several mounts now shrink in size, including:
Mini Red/Yellow/Green/Blue Sports Car
Mini Silver Sports Car MkI and MkII

Mount Sound Effects
Sound effects have been added to a number of mounts with unique idle jump animations, including UFO, Dragons, Drakes, Cerberus, Phoenix, Scorpions, Kitsunes, Imperial Guardian Lion, Ivory Sky Serpent, and several others.

Battlefield Mounts
Battlefield mounts no longer require League of Athanor reputation.
They have also been changed to Epic quality and now have both an Azure and Amber Rune slot instead of a single Amber slot making them equal to Epic and Moolah quality mounts.

Colosseum Mounts
Colosseum mounts have been changed to Epic quality and now have both Azure and Amber Rune slots making then equal to Epic and Moolah quality mounts.

Easter Mounts

This includes mounts such as the various Rugged Crabs, Happy Jax Cats, Toybox Bobble Horses, Sturdy Slizzards, and Legendary Ice Elk obtained from world drops, boxes, vendors, and quests.

The following Scrub's Tear quality mounts now have an Amber Rune slot:

Visual Improvements
Texture quality has been improved for several mounts, including Jax Cats, Sturdy Slizzards, Carrot Kart, Stone Egg Golem, Little Elephants, Rugged Crabs, Gerry, and Gerry's Packmate.

Modesty texture update for the Immortal and Legendary Elks :P

/images/iris/aug2026/elkmodesty.jpg

Visual Fixes
Fixed an issue that caused some transparent textures, glow effects, and particle effects on mounts to appear overly opaque. This affected mounts such as the UFO, Kitsunes, Skeletal Steeds, and any other mounts with glows and particle effects.

Fixed an issue that caused some title, mantle, and visual effects to be clipped while riding certain mounts, including Gerry, Hot Air Balloon, and Mystic Saberwolfs.

Skill Bar Fix
Fixed an issue that occurred when placing multiples of the same mount on the skill bar.
Previously, after relogging, all shortcuts would activate the first mount instead of the intended one.

Rune Fix
Fixed runes sometimes getting applied multiple times after using a Monster Transformation while mounted.

Mount Rune Price Adjustments
The price of several Mount Runes have been reduced:
Steadfast Rune (Immobilize Immunity) reduced from 149 to 99 Moolah.
Resolute Rune (Stun Immunity) reduced from 149 to 99 Moolah.
Speed Rune II (10% Speed) reduced from 99 to 79 Moolah.
Speed Rune III (15% Speed) reduced from 149 to 119 Moolah.
Speed Rune IV (20% Speed) reduced from 199 to 159 Moolah.
Speed Rune V (25% Speed) reduced from 249 to 199 Moolah.

ACHIEVEMENTS
New Achievements

New achievements to collect newly added mounts and collect certain amounts of Rare, Unique/Tear, and Epic/Moolah mounts have been added.

Achievement Changes
The achievement point reward for Legendary Mount: Arcturis has been increased from 5 points to 10 points, bringing it in line with other Legendary mount achievements. Players who had already completed the achievement have automatically received the additional 5 points.

QUESTING
Zone Quests

A common complaint from players old and new is that there are far too many quests and too much running back and forth to NPCs to hand them in, only to be given another quest in the same location.

Many quests that require you to hunt monsters have been changed into Zone Quests that automatically start when you are nearby.
You will be notified in System Chat when you discover a quest and a small tracker will appear under the mini map with the quest name and the monsters you need to hunt.

/images/iris/aug2026/areaquest_new.jpg

Clicking the quest name will open the map where you will see a yellow circle showing where you need to hunt the monsters.

/images/iris/aug2026/areaquest_map.jpg

After completing the quest you will automatically be rewarded with a combination of Experience, Skill Experience, Gold, an item or a buff and if there is a followup quest in that same area it will automatically start.

Leaving the yellow circle will remove the quest after 10s. You can leave and go back to finish at any time as your progress will be saved.

So far, around 100 hunt monster type quests have been moved to this new system, and more will follow in upcoming updates.

Quest Tracker
The Quest Tracker just got quality-of-life upgrades and a redesign.

The tracker has been rewritten to use far less resources, leaving more for the rest of the game which should result in higher game FPS even when tracking a lot of quests.

/images/iris/aug2026/questtracker.jpg

You can now track as many of your quests as you want without collapsing map sections so they all fit on the screen. If you have too many tracked quests visible a scrollbar will appear and you can simply scroll through them.

Tracked quests are now automatically selected when you are within range of the quest. You will see a small compass icon appear next to the quest and the quest's location marker will automatically appear on the main map.

/images/iris/aug2026/questtracker_selectedquest.jpg

You can now select tracked quests while the map is open and it will update the map with the quests location markers. No need to keep closing and opening the map.

Objectives (Hunt/Collect etc.) now briefly pulse blue when updated.

Quests objectives now change to say "Talk to 'NPC' in 'MAP'" when a quest is completed.

The Eye button that displays the location of objectives on the map will appear when you are on the map where they are found.

Quickly switch between tracking All Quests on all maps or Zone Quests on the current map. Click anywhere on the top of the tracker to switch between All Quests and Zone Quests.

/images/iris/aug2026/questtracker_zonemode.jpg

While tracking All Quests:
Left-click a map category to collapse it or restore it, double-click a map category to collapse all other map categories and double-click it again to restore all other map categories.

While tracking All Quests or Zone Quests:
Click the quest title to view the quest in the Quest Journal, untick the quest to stop tracking it and click the Eye button to open the map and view the quest location markers of the quest.

Guild Quests
The game client will no longer crash when taking a followup guild quest when your Quest Journal is already full.

Daily Moolah Quests
Some lower level Daily Moolah quests have been changed to twice a week instead of every day. This includes the quests for Circus, Laioha, Decomus, Wood Garden, and Temple of Atlantis.

I want to continue letting players earn Moolah from playing the game but the amount of daily quests has far exceeded the original plan. This also fits my plans for reducing the amount of daily quests in general. Going forward - a lot of daily hunt quests will move to the new Zone Quest system that will be introduced in this update, and many low level daily quests will no longer be available after outlevelling them by around 20 levels.

Quests
[Elite] Spider Commander

This mount rewarding quest in Shebuz Snowfield can now be taken by players that already progressed to their 2nd or 3rd jobs. It was previously restricted to players with 1st jobs.

Easier Quests
Simplified a lot of mid to high-level quests to require far less monster kills, less collections, and/or removed some monsters from quests that had multiple monster hunt requirements.

Map Category Corrections
Corrected the location (map) of many quests. Some were categorised incorrectly and some didn't have any at all resulting in them defaulting to the Arcana category in the Quest Journal and Quest Tracker. There are still a few that are set to Arcana and this means the targets of the quest could be on any map.

WORLD BOSSES
New World Boss: Bael

Tyrant of the Cavern Bael can be found in Hidden Cavern 3F on Sundays. Dropping weapons, a mount, and a title.

New achievements have also been added for defeating Bael in different ways.

World Boss Schedule Changes
Monoxia now appears on Mondays in addition to Sundays.
Ishva now appears on Tuesdays in addition to Saturdays.
Sraclone now spawns on Mondays and Thursdays.
Devourer now spawns on Tuesdays and Fridays.

/images/iris/aug2026/worldbossschedule.jpg

DUNGEONS
Expedition Bonus

The system previously known as the Nighttime Party Bonus, which provided additional power to players entering Normal/Hard/Insane modes of dungeons with fewer than six party members during nighttime hours, is now active at all times.

The Expedition Bonus helps compensate for the loss of damage, healing, and utility that comes with running dungeons with a smaller group, allowing players to enjoy dungeon content even when a full party is unavailable.

The bonus scales based on the number of players in the dungeon party. Smaller groups receive stronger buffs.

Bonuses
A minimum of 2 players are required to receive the bonus Max HP, Max MP, All Defense, Healing, Boss Damage and Elite Damage.

6 Players: No bonus
5 Players: +10%
4 Players: +20%
3 Players: +30%
2 Players: +40%

This system works for non-raid parties in Normal, Hard, and Insane mode dungeons. It does not include Hell modes or mission based dungeons like Garden of Baphomet, Amanita's Nest, Wonderland, Vortex, Snow Mountain, Hall of Elements as they already scale based on the party count.

Magic Tower
The Tower Pass 1, 2, and 3 items are no longer required to enter the Magic Tower dungeon and have been removed from player quest inventories.

Mission Based Dungeons (Garden of Baphomet, Amanita's Nest, Wonderland)
Corrected some issues with how these dungeons calculate the player count and determine the difficulty scaling before starting.

Dead players will no longer be automatically removed from the dungeon when they close the Results window at the end of the dungeon providing they have revives remaining. If they have used all of their revives they will still get removed.

TIP: If you are dead and have used all revives you will not be able to loot the box dropped by the final boss unless your party is using the master loot system. So to be safe, set master loot before you fight the final boss. And don't close the Results window until you have finished looting or you will be removed from the dungeon.

Wonderland
Alice Transformation

Fixed an issue causing some skill effects, titles, and Tarot effects to appear excessively large while transformed into Alice.
The transformation is now removed if you leave the dungeon.

PETS
Sound Effects

Sounds have been added for summoning, recalling, feeding, and watering pets.

Unruly Pets Fix
Fixed the issue of pets not obeying the Stay command if they were already running to attack a target.

Pet Positioning Corrections
Corrected an issue with the incorrect positioning of pets on the owner and/or other player's screens when pets stopped attacking a target that no longer exists such as a WindWalker going into hide, or a player moving map or disconnecting from the game, and also when the owner of the pet commanded the pet to Stay.

Party Blessing Skill
Corrected the missing tooltip.

BATTLEFIELDS
Battlefield Points

Battlefield Point rewards have been increased, particularly for players on the losing team.

Participating in a match and losing will now always reward significantly more points than receiving consolation rewards from a match that never started due to insufficient players.

If a match ends during the "Get Ready" countdown because a player disconnects, resulting in not enough players, both teams will now receive full losing rewards rather than consolation rewards.

Winning Battlefield Point rewards have been increased for players in the following level ranges:
31–39, 41–49, 51–59, 61–69, 71–79, 81–89, and 91–99.

SYSTEMS
Graphics

Overall performance has been improved, especially in areas built from very large environment pieces, resulting in higher FPS and more responsive camera movements.

Need/Greed Looting
Players that leave a map while Need/Greed rolls are still in progress will now automatically pass on any remaining items. This prevents other party members from having to wait for the timer to expire before loot can be distributed.

Gathering
Mining ores no longer requires the Pickaxe item and collecting herbs/flowers no longer requires Gardening Sheers. These items have been removed from the Quest Inventory, freeing up additional space.

Mining has a new visual and sound effect.

Buffs
The systems that handle saving and loading of buffs and debuffs have been completely rewritten to fix numerous bugs and performance issues. This should also hopefully fix the weekly Crown buffs sometimes disappearing prematurely.

Blessed Potions are now displayed in the standard buff area and can be viewed by other players. They remain Premium buffs and still require confirmation before being removed.

Seasonal buffs obtained when players defeat bosses during seasonal events can now be removed manually with a right-click.

Sound Effects
Footstep sounds have been adjusted for several terrain types and their overall volume has been reduced slightly.

Jump sounds are now unique to each race and gender.

Jump landing sounds corrected to change depending on the terrain type the player is on.

INTERFACE
Chat

The chat system now runs leaner under the hood, so it eats up fewer resources and leaves more power for the rest of the game. You should see smoother performance and higher game FPS even though the chat itself looks the same as before.

Chat Bubbles
Chat bubbles have also been optimized and use less resources and some layout issues relating to emoticons have been fixed.

Sync Issues
The chatbox will no longer get out of sync causing the most recent line of text to be hidden, making you scroll down to it.

The chat will no longer jump down to new messages when you are scrolled up viewing chat history (until the history buffer is full).

Main Menu
The side menu now slides in and out smoothly, no matter how busy your screen gets. It should feel more responsive even if your FPS drops. Opening, closing, and clicking away all use the same slick motion, so the menu behaves exactly how you expect — quick in, quick out.

Auction House
Fixed an issue causing the oldest item listed on the auction house to not show in searches.

Looting Window
Fixed the issue of the looting window sometimes not getting updated/cleared of item(s) or not getting closed automatically after items were looted.

Hero Window: Absorb
Corrected the display of the Physical/Magic Absorb amount in the Hero Window. It was sometimes displaying the incorrect amount when your hero was affected by a debuff that reduces Absorb.

Shopping Mall
Your camera settings (zoom, angle etc. from moving your mouse around with the right mouse button held down) are now restored when leaving the Shopping Mall.

Mount previews in the Shopping Mall now correctly display the size of mounts that have built-in size changes.

Pet Window
You will no longer click-through parts of the Pet window when you have a sub-window like Storage, Skills or Intensify open.

Pet Skill Book Combine
Pet DNA Splicing

Corrected an issue with these systems that sometimes caused your equipped helm/hat to go missing until you moved map or relogged your character.

Zone Maps
Updated several higher level map area labels to be more consistent with the Iris style.

Sound Effects
New sound effects have been added to Garden of Baphomet, Amanita's Nest, and Wonderland for missions, successes, failures, and reward selection.

Several consumable sound effects have also been updated.

CLASS SKILLS
WindWalker

Visual effects that get hidden when using the Vanish and Camouflage skills are now displayed again when the hide skill ends. This includes weapon enhancement glows, title effects, tarot buffs, crown buffs, armor and weapon chance effects, shield layers, and regular buff and debuff visuals.

POSITIONING
Push Skills

Some experimental changes have been made to skills with a Push to hopefully prevent them from pushing targets into invalid areas of maps and causing them to get stuck.

Blink Skills
Again, some experimental changes to prevent Blink skills like the Warrior/Fighter Charge skills putting you in invalid areas of maps and causing you to get stuck.

Portals
More experimental changes to fix issues with running through dungeon and battlefield portals and ending up in invalid areas of the map.
